Episode 36: A Million Ways to Die in the West

This week we leap to our second western. Hopefully this one is better than our first seasons foray into westerns… A Million Ways To Die In The West has a much lower imdb score than The Assassination Of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, but more importantly, how will our score compare (we gave Jesse James 9/30) … surely this can’t be worse. We leapt from Knock Knock to 2014 comedy western A Million Ways To Die In The West with casting director Sheila Jaffe.

Season 2, Episode 9

THE Leap

How did we leap here?

Crew: Sheila Jaffe

From: Knock Knock

Chosen by:
Crew (Scott)
Film (Mike)

Being a reasonably small film, Knock Knock didn’t have a huge amount of good potential leapers to choose from. But when Scott noticed Sheila Jaffe’s resume included some decent films he couldn’t resist.

Where are we leaping to?

Actor: Charlize Theron

To: Long Shot

Chosen by:
Actor (Scott)
Film (Glenn)

Charlize Theron has appeared in a variety of genres so there were a lot of interesting options to choose from. While Scott was hoping for an action film, Glenn instead picked 2019 Seth Rogen comedy Long Shot which neither of the two other hosts had seen. Will they be disappointed with Glenn’s pick yet again? How much longer before he is kicked off the podcast?
