Episode 39: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

This week we leap with composer John Williams to the third and some people (Mike) might say – best – Indiana Jones film: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. We explore and dig into this film, with many adventures along the way, and discuss if it is as good now as it was then.

Season 2, Episode 12

THE Leap

How did we leap here?

Composer: John Williams

From: Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens

Chosen by:
Crew (Glenn)
Film (Mike)

John Williams has created many of the most recognisable scores in cinema history. Glenn chose him because he has loved many many films he has scored. Especially the Superman films. But he would have been happy with anything other than Indiana Jones which he never watched when growing up.

Where are we leaping to?

Director: Steven Spielberg

To: Vanilla Sky

Chosen by:
Crew (Scott)
Film (Glenn)

Glenn incredibly frustrates everyone again by instead of choosing one of the many great classics directed by Spielberg he chooses a film in which Spielberg appears uncredited briefly in a party scene because he happened to be on the set that day. Who knows if Glenn will still be with us for season 3*

*Now taking applications for Cinematic Leap co-host.
