Episode 38: Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens

This week we leap to a galaxy far, far away and discuss the 2015 continuation of the Star Wars saga that began way back in 1977. It’s hard not to love a good Star Wars movie, but is this a good Star Wars movie? We leapt here through Andy Serkis because Scott didn’t want to watch Lord of the Rings.

Season 2, Episode 11

THE Leap

How did we leap here?

Crew: Andy Serkis

From: The Force Awakens

Chosen by:
Actor (Mike)
Film (Scott)

Mike chose the often unrecognisable Andy Serkis in the hope that maybe Scott would pick Lord of the Rings, but not likely with Scott and instead we go to a galaxy far, far away. But it’s not long ago, it’s next week!

Where are we leaping to?

Composer: John Williams

To: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Chosen by:
Crew (Glenn)
Film (Mike)

John Williams has created many of the most recognisable scores in cinema history. Glenn chose him because he has loved many many films he has scored. Especially the Superman films. But he would have been happy with anything other than Indiana Jones which he never watched when growing up.
