Episode 67: The Dish

This week Sam Neill takes us to a much more recent past, Australia in the 1960s for a classic Australian comedy based on true events in Parkes, NSW – a town that played a key role in the first mission to take people to the moon – 2000’s The Dish.

Season 3, Episode 13

THE Leap

How did we leap here?

Actor: Sam Neill

From: Jurassic Park

Chosen by:
Actor (Mike)
Film (Glenn)

A lot of good potential leapers from here and Mike picks one of everyone’s favourites Sam Neill. This is an actor that can seemingly do no wrong and was difficult to pick a film of. Everything Sam does is wonderful. The Dish ended up being a popular pick for the team as Scott hasn’t seen it before and Mike was excited with by this leap.

Where are we leaping to?

Actor: Tom Long

To: Two Hands

Chosen by:
Actor (Scott)
Film (Mike)

Australian actor Tom Long was a great actor, mainly appearing in TV series but also appeared in some decent movies. A great actor we lost way too soon. We leap with him to a role where he shows just how good his range was where he plays a completely different character in 1999s Two Hands.
