Episode 46: The Menu (2022)

The episode we leap to Glenn’s first of three solo leaps where he has picked Ralph Fiennes to leap to 2022 film The Menu (which none of us had seen before). Did this film leave a bad taste in our mouths, or did we enjoy the dark and unsettling flavours meticulously presented? Listen to find out!

Season 2, Episode 19

THE Leap

How did we leap here?

Actor: Ralph Fiennes

From: The Grand Budapest Hotel

Chosen by:
Actor (Glenn)
Film (Glenn)

We are now up to our leaps where each of us choose both leaper and film. To start with Glenn takes us with Ralph Fiennes (who we all agreed was outstanding in The Grand Budapest Hotel) to the unsettling island restraurant where we view The Menu.

Where are we leaping to?

Actor: Arturo Castro

To: Weird: The Al Yankovic Story

Chosen by:
Actor (Glenn)
Film (Glenn)

Arturo Castro plays a rich tech bro dude in The Menu and we leap with him to a film in which he plays (the probably even richer) Pablo Escobar, although these roles couldn’t be any more different with one a very serious character and one hilarious over-the-top drug boss.
