Episode 21: Unstoppable

This week we discuss Unstoppable, the 2010 film starring Denzel Washington. Unstoppable was the last film directed by Tony Scott, and also the last of three films chosen by our Scott for his leap of three. Unstoppable opens up many possible leap directions for Glenn to chose from but which way will he go…? We arrived at Unstoppable through composer Harry Gregson-Williams.

Season 1, Episode 21

THE Leap

How did we leap here?

Composer: Harry Gregson-Williams

From: The Town

Chosen by:
Crew Member (Scott)
Film (Scott)

Harry Gregson-Williams has composed many films, most popular being The Martian and Shrek. But he has also done a lot of Denzel Washington films so Scott could not resist leaping to one of those.

Where are we leaping to?

Actor: Rosario Dawson

To: Josie and the Pussycats

Chosen by:
Actor (Glenn)
Film (Glenn)

Rosario Dawson has appeared in over 100 films. Unstoppable is definitely one of them. Josie and the Pussycats is definitely a better one (according to Glenn). But seriously, she is an amazing actor having been in a huge range of roles, which can be seen here as we leap from her playing a railyard master to a rock star in a band.
