Episode 40: Vanilla Sky

This week we leap to one of Glenn’s favourite films (for some reason) Vanilla Sky. We leapt here with director Steven Spielberg who has nothing to do with this film but briefly appears to wish Tom Cruise’s character ‘Happy Birthday’.

Season 2, Episode 13

THE Leap

How did we leap here?

Director: Steven Spielberg

From: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Chosen by:
Crew (Scott)
Film (Glenn)

Glenn incredibly frustrates everyone again by instead of choosing one of the many great classics directed by Spielberg he chooses a film in which Spielberg appears uncredited briefly in a party scene because he happened to be on the set that day. Who knows if Glenn will still be with us for season 3*

*Now taking applications for Cinematic Leap co-host.

Where are we leaping to?

Actor: Noah Taylor

To: Edge of Tomorrow

Chosen by:
Actor (Mike)
Film (Scott)

We leap to another Tom Cruise film, but with Australian actor Noah Taylor, who is again, in a way, playing a tech support type character, this time helping with futuristic tech devices to win the war and save the world.
